Based near Wendover on an enclosed and picturesque piece of farmland, in the foothills below Coombe Hill, The Shepherd’s Hut Outdoor Day Nursery comprises of several structures. Designed with children at heart, we have a heated yurt for indoor activities, quiet time and inclement weather. In 2021, we introduced our Baby Barn for 0-2 year olds where they can play, rest and eat together when not exploring the outdoor area. Alongside this we have a designated Forest School area, mud kitchen, a fruit and vegetable patch where we will grow, cultivate and eat our harvest.
We opened our doors in August 2018 and are delighted to offer quality childcare from 8am to 4.30pm, 41 weeks of the year. A Holiday Club is available during the Summer and Easter school holidays from 9am to 2pm (optional).
